Paris Plages is back from July 7 to September 2, 2018. This 17th edition will offer many activities, some of them are not to be missed. The event will take place on two sites, along the basin of Villette (18th and 19th), and in the park Rives de Seine, on the left and right banks (1st, 4th & 7th).
Voie Georges Pompidou (Parc Rives de Seine right bank):
Hundreds of deckchairs, foggers, picnic tables, refreshments, ice cream shops, but also babyfoot tournaments, beach volleyball, taï-chi sessions, training workshops, dancing and a free library in a lawn and palm atmosphere.
Port of Solferino and Invalides - (Berges de Seine left bank):
Dozens of deckchairs, foggers, picnic tables, refreshments, ice cream shops, for an extension of the party to the Alexandre III bridge.
Bassin de la Villette:
Deckchairs, petanque, water games, entertainment and show will be as usual in the program. And this year, Paris Beaches will install a bathing area in the Bassin de la Villette, located on quai de la Loire, and propose three open basins for free, every day from 11am to 9pm.
A zip line will make the crossing back and forth over nearly 160 meters long, and more than 8 meters above the basin of La Villette (19th). The animation will be open every day, from 1am to 8pm.
