BnF presents a major exhibition dedicated to JRR Tolkien, a brilliant Oxford professor and creator of worlds, from 22 October to 16 February 2020. About 300 pieces will be exhibited and highlight both the man and his work. For the first time in France, many original Tolkien manuscripts and drawings are presented. At the same time, a selection of exceptional pieces from most of the BnF's collections provides a context for this artistic and literary creation. The museum is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 10am to 7pm, nocture visit on Thursday until 9pm. Closed on Mondays and holidays.
Address: Quai François Mauriac 75013
