Le Muséum national d’Histoire naturelle presents « Océan en voie d’illumination » in the heart of Jardin des Plantes, from Nov 18, 2019 to Jan 19, 20

Le Muséum national d’Histoire naturelle presents « Océan en voie d’illumination », a nocturnal, magical and illuminating odyssey in the heart of Jardin des Plantes, to meet the inhabitants of the oceans, from November 18, 2019 to January 19, 2020.
With nearly 370,000 visitors for its first edition, Espèces en voie d’illumination has placed itself in 2018 at the head of the must-see events during the end of year festivities in Paris. In 2019, the Museum continues the adventure by offering an experience as rare as it is odd for walkers in search of enchantment with Ocean on the way to enlightenment. This new evening show, open to the public every evening from 6pm, from November 18, 2019 to January 19, 2020 (with the exception of December 24 and 31), showcases the marine world, echoing the great Ocean exhibition, an unusual dive, currently presented at Grande Galerie de l'Evolution. Océan en voie d'illumination offers visitors to immerse themselves in the vastness of the oceans, discovering majestic, fascinating and sometimes surprising life forms. 50 monumental light structures, some up to 10 meters high or 30 meters long, are to be discovered along the show featuring four marine environments. The journey starts from the place Valhubert, by the discovery of the inhabitants of the tropical coast, the splendor of the warm seas, then the visitor will dive to strange creatures in the mysterious universe of the abyss before finally go up the frozen seas of the poles ...
